The son of Gary and Jan Scofield, Josh began playing baseball at the age of 4. Josh was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2004, and has signed a letter-of-intent to play baseball at Texas Tech University. In his spare time, Josh enjoys college football and playing games on his X-Box. A three year varsity athlete in high school, Josh earned first team all-county honors both his junior and senior seasons and helped lead the Knights to the district championship in 2003.
