Study References for Placement into Math 127 and 132

 

In order to place into Math 127 and 132 you MUST know the following Math 124, 126, and 126 concepts.

NOTE:  Please be aware that the cut-off scores for placing into Math 127 and 132 are NOT the same.  You will actually be required to have a higher number of correct answers to place into Math 127.

Course Objectives:

a.   Solve polynomial, exponential, and logarithmic equations.

b.   Work with Cartesian coordinate system, being able to graph linear, exponential, polynomial, absolute value, square root, piecewise-defined, rational, and logarithmic functions.

c.   Understand function concepts, including operations on functions, and inverse functions.

d.   Solve systems of linear and nonlinear equations.
