Adult Literacy & Language
We offer English as a Second Language (ESL), Basic Reading and Math, and General Education Development (GED) Preparation courses at the Sahara West Campus and Neighborhood Learning Centers. Generally, classes meet for 6 weeks, 9 hours per week. ESL, Basic Skills and GED classes are scheduled at the Sahara West Campus in the mornings and evenings. ESL and GED classes are scheduled in the evenings at Neighborhood Learning Centers. More evening ESL and GED classes are held at various other locations throughout the Las Vegas Valley.
We currently offer:

- Intermediate Low/High & Advanced ESL
- ESL Beginnining/Intermediate & Advanced ESL
BASIC SKILLS & GED PREPARATION CLASSES
- Reading, Writing and Math Basic Skills
- GED Preparation - Reading, Writing and Math
ELIGIBILITY: The minimum age for enrollment in classes is 17. Basic Skills and GED Preparation classes are available to adults who are in need of basic reading, writing and/or math skills.
