Student Emergency Fund
Award Amount - Up to $500 per calendar year awarded as a grant
Eligibility - The emergency fund provides short-term financial assistance to all enrolled degree-seeking students taking three or more credits including all DACA, undocumented and international students. Students will be required to submit appropriate verified documentation along with the emergency fund application. For further details go to Emergency Fund Criteria and Award Protocol.

At the Career & Transfer Services (CaTS) office we offer career exploration, job search assistance and transfer guidance to students and alumni. We help students define career goals through computerized assessments & career exploration activities. Our center also offers the Career & Technical Education Assistance Program (CTEAP) to provide assistance to students facing significant barriers to education and/or employment.
Career & Transfer Services also offers the CSN CareerLink system to manage all aspects of the Career Center. The system offers online resume review, local and national job postings and students the ability to post their resume for employer consideration.

The Urban Chamber of Commerce is an advocate for the creation, growth and general welfare of African American businesses in the Las Vegas community. The Urban Chamber of Commerce actively promotes the expansion of business opportunities on behalf of its members through referrals, partnerships, seminars, technical assistance and marketing. WIOA Youth Program
About Our Services
We are the One-Stop Career Center program that prepares young adults between the ages of 16-24 for the workforce through work-readiness workshops, trainings, leadership development and educational skills training. While all career pathways are promoted, we specialize in working with employers in the following in-demand fields: Health Care, Transportation & Logistics, and Advanced Manufacturing & Construction. The objective of the program is to ensure that young adults have the necessary skills to e employable in the workforce and connected to in-demand occupations or placed in post-secondary education at the end of the program.
Work Experience
A work experience/Internship is a structured paid learning experience that will provide youth a unique opportunity for career exploration and skill development.
