The Collective Project has been established to assist with the matriculation, persistence, retention and transferability to a four-year institution for Black/African American students at the College of Southern Nevada (CSN). Our program will collaborate with CSN support services to provide intentional and personalized support for all participants. Our goal is to create affirming, non-tokenizing relationships for Black/African American students to encourage a culture of belonging to the CSN community. Students will participate in a year-long program that teaches self-advocacy, leadership, academic success and the importance of community. The Collective Project is here for YOU!
To be eligible for this program you must be a first time, full time (12 credits or more) student at CSN who ancestrally identify as Black/African American. Fall 2020 participants will be eligible to receive a scholarship for the Spring 2021 semester. Please follow the link below to apply by August 14th, 2020.
Our team looks forward to learning and growing with you. Feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
