Global Citizenry & the New Cuba

Join us for a discussion on Global Citizenry & the New Cuba on Feb. 24 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the CSN Charleston Campus in Building I Rm. 208. Dr. Melinda L. Yeomans, Associate Director of the University Honors Program at Southern Illinois University will offer a blueprint for launching a three-week intersession study abroad program in Cuba. The first two weeks of this course consists of a pre-dparture session focusing on Cuban-U.S. History, Latin American History, Intercultural Understanding & Communicati9on Skills. The course culminates in a week-long cultural immersion trip to Cuba, scheduled around guided learning experiences.
