CSN Student Laptops

In CSN’s continual efforts to help our students succeed, a set of notebook computers for CSN students were procured. These were intended to help those students without the proper technology to be able to graduate, transfer, and prosper while supplies lasted.

The devices procured to support this initiative have been diminished. OTS will no longer be scheduling appointments to hand out laptops after February 23rd, 2024. The few remaining devices will be provided to departments such as FTFY, Student Govt, Math, etc. to be provided to those students who demonstrate the most need. Once these have been handed out, the program will be completed.

To be eligible, students must be enrolled in the current semester, have paid for their classes, or have a payment plan in place, and have no outstanding issues with their account or student status.

Is the Computer a Loaner? No, these computers were provided to students to help with their academic career at CSN and beyond.

What Happens When the Student Graduates? The computer is theirs to keep assisting them in their next adventure.

How Are the Students Getting the Computers? Pick-up Events and appointments were scheduled throughout the semester.

How Does the Student Identify Themselves When Receiving Their Notebook? Students were required to log into a checkout computer with their regular CSN Student Account (the one used for MyCSN, Canvas, GoCSN, etc.), read the below Terms and Conditions making them aware of thier responsibility for the device.

What’s the fine print? Terms and Conditions below were required when students acquired their laptop.
