The Department of International Languages offers an Associate of Arts Degree with an International Languages Emphasis in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish and Portuguese. We also offer Associate of Applied Science Degrees in Deaf Studies, one with an Interpreter Preparation Emphasis. Our English as a Second Language (ESL) Program is accredited by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA), a nationally recognized accrediting agency for English language programs endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education. Students will learn in dedicated language labs available morning, afternoon, evening, and on weekends at both the West Charleston and Cheyenne campuses. Dedicated computers with specialized language software are also available in the library at the Henderson Campus. Assistance with course registration, instructional technology and placement testing as well as information on available languages and courses is provided at each of our lab locations.
