Diesel/Heavy Equipment Program

Students participating in the Diesel/Heavy Equipment Program attend courses designed to train students to repair trucks, heavy equipment and recreational vehicles. Students attend classroom and hands-on labs focused on diesel equipment service, diesel/heavy equipment electrical systems, electronics, engine repair, brake systems, heating and air conditioning, steering, suspension and hydraulic directional controls, drive trains and axles. Paid internships may be available.

Graduates can pursue careers as diesel technicians with mass transit motor pools, construction companies or with any company that uses/services heavy equipment or recreation vehicles.
