The Global Studies Program teaches our students to find solutions to local, national, and international issues through the study of multiple disciplines.

Why Study Global Studies at CSN?

Gaining an understanding of global social, economic, political, and historical systems anchored in differing philosophical and religious traditions will help students appreciate the commonality of all human aspirations across the globe. Appreciation of the diversity of human cultures and traditions enables our program graduates to work and succeed in our global society.

Our associate of arts degree graduates typically transfer to a four-year institution to continue their studies. Bachelor’s degree graduates can move on to professions such as teachers, foreign correspondents, international trade specialists, legislative aides, government lobbyists, and many others.

This and other careers related to global studies must be refined in more advanced degree coursework.
