Why Study Sociology at CSN?

Successful graduates earning an Associate of Arts Degree in Sociology will be able to seamlessly transfer to a four-year institution to continue their studies.

Students can join the Living Sociology Club and participate in community service activities, educational talks, and networking opportunities. The Sociology Forum is also available to students and features speakers and topics as varied as homelessness, diversity in American society, and mass media.

Sociologist positions typically require a graduate or doctoral degree, while a baccalaureate degree can lead to positions in related fields such as education or social services.
