The Hotel Management Program is geared to give our students the technical skills and theoretical knowledge to gain entry-level and supervisory positions in the hospitality industry.

Why Study Hotel Management at CSN?

Students will acquire operational knowledge of all departments within a lodging establishment from front office operations and guest services to hotel sales, marketing, and human resources management. For currently employed students, this program will aid in career advancement, professional growth, and career mobility.

Our associate degree and certificate graduates can pursue hospitality employment opportunities including events manager, front office supervisor, hotel operations manager, and housekeeping supervisor, to name just a few.

Our program also houses the Associate of Arts Degree in Hospitality Management.  Designed to transfer to UNLV and other four-year institutions, this degree is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Programs in Hospitality Administration.

Degrees and Certificates

Hospitality Management: AA

The Associate of Arts (AA) degree with a Hospitality Management emphasis is specifically designed for the student who intends to transfer to the William F. Harrah College of Administration at UNLV.

Hotel Management: AAS

This degree provides students the opportunity to seek employment in an entry-level supervisory position, or for those already in the hotel industry, an opportunity for professional growth and career advancement.

Hotel Management: CA

The Certificate of Achievement in Hotel Management provides students the opportunity to seek employment in an entry-level position, or for those already in the hotel industry, an opportunity for professional growth and career advancement.

Accreditation

The quality of CSN’s Hotel Management Program is demonstrated by successful evaluations from the Accreditation Commission for Programs in Hospitality Administration and the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.
