Why Study Psychology at CSN?

The Associate of Arts Degree in Psychology provides an essential foundation in the theoretical perspective and social science research methods of psychology and provides for the exploration of more specialized topics. Our students can participate in the Psychology Club and the CSN chapter of Psi Beta, the National Psychology Honors Society for two-year institutions. These clubs participate in community service activities and bring in speakers and professionals from the field of psychology for educational talks and networking opportunities.

Psychologist positions typically require a graduate or doctoral degree.
