Need help with making your Microsoft Word 2016 document accessible? Look no further than within Word 2016. Below are ways to find help:

Creating a New Document?

Click on File tab, New, “Search for Online Templates” textbox, type in the word accessibility. Download and read about creating accessible documents from the list. (You will need to scroll down within the document.)


Check Existing Document

Use the File tab, Info, Check for Issues button, Check Accessibility (ALT+Q). Click on an item in the list, the insertion point navigates to that location. You can also get help about how to fix the error.
Accessibility Checker in Word

Alternatively, on Word 365 (online Word) the Review tab, Check Accessibility.
