The College of Southern Nevada’s ROADS Project is here to help you build a career in high-demand fields such as health sciences, technology, and skilled trades - at no cost to you. In partnership with DETR and our network of employers and business partners, we provide free education, workforce training, and career support to help you succeed.
STUDENTS
Whether you’re seeking certification for a new career or customized professional training, the ROADS program is here to help. Designed to retrain Nevadans and prepare them for in-demand careers, ROADS empowers participants to become key contributors to the state’s economy. New and existing students in the program will receive financial assistance for expenses such as tuition, training, certifications, testing, books, materials, and supplies. With specialized training in manufacturing, healthcare, technology, and the building trades, participants gain the skills needed to secure stable, long-term employment.
ROADS Services Include:
- Financial assistance and referrals to community services to support student success.
- Customized industry-specific training for both pre- and post-employment to ensure career readiness.
- Development of transferable skills that employers value across various industries.
- Industry credentials and certifications to enhance employability in high demand fields.
- Direct access to joint CSN-ROADS job placement services to arrange interviews in targeted occupational fields.
- Exposure to multiple employment opportunities to ensure long-term career growth and advancement.
- Access to ROADS Alumni Network within the CSN community to provide mentorship, build connections and provide ongoing career support.

The ROADS Program is dedicated to strengthening Nevada’s skilled workforce by providing training in high-demand industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, information technology, and the building trades. Fully funded through a DETR grant, the program is offered at no cost to businesses or students and carries no contractual obligations.
ROADS can be customized to meet industry and business needs by:
