On Friday, CSN held a summit with elected officials and community leaders to help draft our college’s roadmap for the next seven years. We want to thank our terrific co-hosts, NSHE Board of Regents Chair Rick Trachok, Clark County Commission Chair Steve Sisolak, Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman, Henderson City Councilwoman Gerri Schroder, CCSD Superintendent Pat Skorkowsky and CSN Institutional Advisory Council Chair Dr. Nancy E. Brune as well as the many great friends, elected officials and community partners who came and provided great feedback. The community support for our students and our mission was tremendous. We look forward to posting more about this process as we proceed.

We had the honor of having Dr. Robert Green on campus today. Dr. Green spoke about his work with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. during the Civil Rights movement.
