The Office of Student Financial Services have disbursed the 2nd disbursement of Financial Aid. It has posted and are reflected as awards in the Financial Aid section of MyCSN. It may take some time, however, for this to be reflected in your student account.

CSN now offers free UNLIMITED tutoring! Students interested in one-on-one tutoring through the Office of Tutorial Services will continue to need to set up tutoring appointments. Students can learn more about how to set up tutorial appointments by visiting www.csn.edu/tutoring. Students can also learn about the other tutorial resources that are available through “drop in” labs and centers by visiting this same tutorial services website.

Reminder: Payment for fall semester registration is due June 1. File your FAFSA before May 30 to protect your enrollment for fall. The FAFSA form must be received by Student Financial Services with no major errors (A rejected or incomplete FAFSA or a FAFSA that cannot load into MyCSN will not suffice for the May 30 deadline.) NOTE: It can take more than a week to recieve notice from CSN's financial aid office to confirm you completed your FAFSA correctly so don't wait until the last minute!

Payment or payment arrangements must be made by this deadline or your enrollment may be canceled. Registration re-opens for all students on June 4, after which, payment is due on the day of registration. The following steps will help you protect your enrollment from cancellation: Pay your balance due before 11:59 p.m. on June 1; or Sign up for a payment plan online via MyCSN and pay the minimum amount due by 11:59 p.m. on June 1, (or do so in person at a campus cashier’s office during regular business hours).

The fall 2012 schedule will be available tomorrow and early registration begins on May 1. Please note: The fall 2012 payment due date is June 1: Payment or payment arrangements (whether paying out of pocket or with financial aid) must be made by this deadline or students’ enrollment may be canceled. Registration re-opens for all students on June 4, after which time payment is due at 11:59 p.m. on the day of registration. The use of this “rolling” enrollment cancellation process will help ensure CSN does not shutdown the entire registration system for all NSHE institutions as we did last fall. The following steps will help students protect their enrollment from cancelation: • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form before May 30; • Pay the balance due before 11:59 p.m. on June 1; or • Sign up for a payment plan online via MyCSN and pay the minimum amount due by 11:59 p.m. on June 1, (or do so in person at a campus cashier’s office during regular business hours).
