Although the AAS degree is not designed to transfer to a four-year program at other NSHE institutions, many of the courses will transfer to NSHE or other four-year colleges and universities.

AA/AB/AS General Education Requirements

The general education requirements listed here cover transfer degrees to NSHE four-year institutions. The completion of the associate of arts, associate of science, and associate of business degree automatically fulfills the lower-division general education requirements at any other NSHE institution1. Completion of the associate of arts, associate of science, or the associate of business degree does not guarantee satisfaction of all State College or university lower-division requirements except for the lower-division general education requirements2.
