Today, we celebrate Women’s Equality Day – a national recognition of the adoption of the 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution granting women the right to vote. Did you know that #CSN has a dedicated Women's Alliance to advocate for and uplift the women in our college community and beyond? Women’s Equality Day falls before the beginning of the fall 2021 semester and during our annual Convocation. The CSN Women’s Alliance will celebrate the day after the beginning of the semester to ensure this important observance receives the attention it deserves. Please be on the lookout for details. The Nevada State Apprenticeship Council’s recent approval of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Registered Apprenticeship program under the sponsorship of the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE), the Governor’s Office of Workforce Innovation (OWINN) announced an exciting partnership with the City of Mesquite to bring this critically important high-demand occupational training program to its community. CSN celebrated the Center Nursing Assistant Apprenticeship program yesterday. The Apprenticeship Program consists of time divided between a lecture class online, a CNA Lab at CSN and clinical classes twice a week. #CSN #StudentsFirst
