Applications will be accepted through February 15, 2022! Did you know that students may apply for multiple scholarships by completing one online application and are automatically matched with scholarships for which they are qualified? Each scholarship has its own specific purpose and eligibility criteria according to the recommendations of the donor. For those of you with financial aid. The census will lock in at 11:59 p.m. tonight so all changes in courses made today either dropping or adding will count. Your financial aid for the semester will be based on your credit hours of enrollment on the census date. If you have already received a financial aid refund for the semester and your credit hours of enrollment change after the financial aid refund is sent out, you may owe money back to CSN after your financial aid eligibility is recalculated (if you dropped credits). If you have added courses, your financial aid package may be adjusted to reflect your increased credit hours of enrollment. You may gain additional financial aid eligibility depending upon the type of financial aid you are receiving.

In celebration of International Women's Day #CSN will be showing the award winning documentary For Sama on Monday, March 8th (2pm-4pm) At the conclusion of the documentary, CSN and UNLV faculty member Dr. Autoosa Kojoori will lead a discussion and Q & A session focusing on the forces that brought Syria to conflict, which still persists today. About For Sama: Winner of the best documentary movie award in Cannes Film Festival in 2019. Nominated for an Oscar at the 92nd Academy Awards in the Documentary Feature category. The film documents the life of a university student and activist Waad al-Kateab’s through five years of civil war in Aleppo between the pro-democratic Syrian opposition and the dynastic government. She and her husband, a doctor in one of the few remaining hospitals in the city, face the decision to flee to safety with their baby daughter Sama or stay and help the victims of the brutal conflict.
