We have all these signing days. But this is what matters. This to me is important. We’re celebrating academic success,” CCSD Superintendent Dr. Jesus Jara said. CSN Vice President of Academic Affairs Margo Martin said she was thrilled to welcome Oscar on behalf of CSN. “This is going to be a phenomenal experience for you starting in the fall,” she said. “You could not have picked a better place, Oscar.” We were also greeted with amazing music by the school’s mariachi band. We look forward to students from all our CCSD schools joining us in the fall. Officers arrived and tracked down the student who had driven the car to campus. It was then determined that the student had a rifle and approximately 2,000 rounds of ammunition inside the vehicle. Firearms are prohibited on Nevada System of Higher Education campuses, including those kept in parked vehicles.
