R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense) classes are intended to teach participants to take an active role in their own self-defense and psychological well-being, by helping women feel safer and better prepared on campus. The 12-hour course is broken into a 4-day training in which participants acquire self-defense education through realistic tactics and techniques. Classes are open to all female students, faculty, and staff. Register for the sessions taking place at UNLV on: Tuesday, May 21, Thursday, May 23, Tuesday, May 28, and Thursday, May 30 from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. This is a 4-day course. Attendees must attend all four sessions.

The Biomedical Exploration workshop is a paid five-week program that gives students the opportunity to explore and prepare for a possible career in the biomedical sciences.
