Today was our 2019 Adjunct Impact Conference, an event aimed at helping get our adjunct faculty ready to go for the first day of the semester. At CSN, adjunct faculty teach a significant portion of our course schedule so CSN is committed to helping faculty being successful in the classroom. The daylong event included breakout sessions on a number of topics, a student panel and lunch at Texas Station. #studentsfirst

Students! Would you like to explore your career options in the biomedical field and improve your academic skills while earning money this summer? The Biomedical Exploration workshop is a paid five-week program that gives students the opportunity to explore and prepare for a possible career in the biomedical sciences. During the program students will have the opportunity to: • Learn about real careers in medicine and biology • Meet with and talk to scientists and biomedical professionals • Take exciting and informative field trips • Learn valuable lab skills focusing on molecular biology • Participate in skill-building activities to help prepare for upper-division science courses Participants will receive $1,400 upon completion of the workshop!
