Today was our 2019 Adjunct Impact Conference, an event aimed at helping get our adjunct faculty ready to go for the first day of the semester. At CSN, adjunct faculty teach a significant portion of our course schedule so CSN is committed to helping faculty being successful in the classroom. The daylong event included breakout sessions on a number of topics, a student panel and lunch at Texas Station. #studentsfirst

Due to the financial hardships many students are facing related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Board of Regents voted to temporarily suspend certain provisions related to delinquent accounts for students facing financial hardships through September 30, 2020. Students with and without outstanding balances from spring or summer 2020 who register for the fall 2020 semester will be required to pay the balance for their courses or have a payment plan in place by the beginning of the semester, under the temporary policy suspension. #CSN President Federico Zaragoza signed an MOU with @ConsulMexLvn for the Ventanilla de Orientación Educativa (Educational Orientation Window) which offers educational programs and services available in the United States and Mexico. The Ventanilla de Orientación Educativa is located in the @ConsulMexLvn facilities and provides information about #scholarships, educational opportunities in Mexico, local educational services, course and workshops for parents, educational materials in Spanish and advice on navigating the US education system. #CSN #StudentsFirst

Students! Would you like to explore your career options in the biomedical field and improve your academic skills while earning money this summer? The Biomedical Exploration workshop is a paid five-week program that gives students the opportunity to explore and prepare for a possible career in the biomedical sciences.
