Results that match 1 of 2 words Congrats to Jason Isaacs and Edward Reyes, two CSN culinary students who won 1st place in the Las Vegas NEWH Battle of the Green Toque Mystery Basket Competition last week. The competition required the students to prepare two courses in 60 minutes utilizing sustainable ingredients revealed to them just minutes before starting to cook. Four teams representing the culinary programs of The Art Institute of Las Vegas, CSN, Le Cordon Bleu and UNLV faced off in this sustainable culinary extravaganza. Jason and Edward both received individual first place awards as well as a plaque to be displayed at CSN. According to Entertainment Weekly (ew.com, 6/6/2011), the French government's broadcasting authority felt that broadcasters saying things like "Find us on Facebook" or "Follow us on Twitter" served as stealth promotion for the two social networking sites and this was unfair to all other social networking sites. From JOUR 101 Critical Analysis of the Mass Media and CSN Communication Professor Rick Marks. The course is offered onsite and online every semester.
