Open Enrollment
Open Enrollment for the Public Employees Benefits Program (PEBP) and Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) benefits take place each year from May 1 - 31. All changes made during the Open Enrollment period are effective 7/1/2024.
During open enrollment, benefits-eligible employees can make changes to their benefits offered through the Public Employees Benefits Program (PEBP) and NSHE.

During the open enrollment period, all benefits-eligible employees should review the following:
- Current benefit elections
- View the PEBP E-PEBP Portal and Workday websites to view current elections.
- NSHE FSA medical and dependent care accounts (ASI Flex) do not automatically renew. You must re-enroll in your accounts to continue participation in the new plan year. If you do not re-enroll, your FSA medical and dependent care accounts will end on June 30, 2024. The next opportunity to enroll in an FSA will be during the next open enrollment or if you have a qualifying event.

Plan Year 2025 Open Enrollment Meeting: For Participants Enrolled in a PEBP Self-Funded Plan or Health Plan of Nevada
Plan Year 2025 open enrollment (OE) is May 1st - May 31st with any changes effective on July 1, 2024. This meeting is for PEBP participants enrolled in the Consumer Driven Health Plan (PPO), Low Deductible Plan (PPO), Exclusive Provider Organization Plan (EPO), and Health Plan of Nevada (HMO). Open enrollment meetings cover premium rates, plan design, and features for the upcoming plan year. Register for this event and join us on Zoom, or in person at the PEBP Board Room.
