Award YearDisbursement of financial aid is contingent upon you attending all of your classes. If you do not attend and participate in your classes, all or part of your financial aid will be reversed and you may owe the college. If you enroll in all late starting classes, your disbursement will occur closer to the beginning of those courses. You must be meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) for aid to be disbursed. If you submit a SAP Appeal, your classes will not be held prior to any approval of that appeal.Financial Aid Census Date (Impacts Pell Grants only)The Pell Grant awards are based on students’ enrollment intensity (# of credits taken) on the census date. The census date is when the student’s enrollment is locked. The Pell Grant will be reviewed and adjustments will be made, if necessary, based on the student’s enrollment intensity. The students who enroll at the beginning of the semester and add courses after the census date should be prepared to pay for additional tuition & fee charges out of pocket. Note: 12+ credits are treated as the same intensity (full-time).**Please note: Pell Grant-eligible students who enroll in late-start course(s) for the first time (never before enrolled at CSN for the semester) may still qualify for the Pell Grant. The Census Date will be based on the date of the student’s first successful enrollment attempt or when CSN receives the student’s FAFSA, whichever is later.2025 - 2026 Academic YearFall 2025Special Circumstances Request Form AvailabilityFriday, July 4th, 2025Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Appeals & SAP Reinstatements - Submission DeadlineLast day to submit SAP Appeals or SAP Reinstatements - Wednesday, September 24th, 2025Census DateCensus Date - Sunday, August 31st, 2025, at 9:00 PM PST (Note: You may still enroll or drop classes up to 12:00 midnight.
