This summer, about 200 Nevada Promise applicants have enrolled in a new six-week academy, aimed at setting these students up for success before the fall semester begins. Today, Nevada System of Higher Education Vice Chancellor Nate Mackinnon shared his education journey and answered student questions on a wide range of topics. Students also played a thrilling game of rock, paper, scissors before heading to a math placement exam. Check our stories for some video of the rock, paper, scissors.
