It is with great sadness we announce that emeritus professor and planetarium founder Dale Etheridge passed away on Friday, April 19. Dr. Etheridge joined what was then called Clark County Community College in 1976. He was the founding director of the planetarium and has been a part of the CSN family for over 40 years as a valued colleague and educator to students. Dale loved this college and was never happier than when he was sharing his knowledge of and joy in the wonders of the universe with his students and the broader community. A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 24 at Palm Northwest Mortuary, at 6701 N. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, Nevada.
