Mission Graduation Scholarship

CSN’s Mission Graduation Scholarship was created for our college-level students in their final graduating semester at the College of Southern Nevada. The scholarship is designed to alleviate the financial stress that may be felt as students prepare to graduate. This scholarship will be available for fall and spring terms until funding is exhausted.

Award Amount: $500 - $2000 or up to your budgeted cost of attendance
Terms Available: Fall and Spring Terms Only. Not offered during the summer Term. 

Semester Dates: 

Fall 2026:

Open: August 24, 2026

Deadline: November 31, 2026 (or until funds are exhausted)

Spring 2027

Open: January 18, 2027

Deadline: April 14th, 2027 (or until funds are exhausted)

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must have applied for the current FAFSA and completed all financial aid related To Do List items 
  • Must have a declared Degree/Certificate-Seeking (DCS) or Bachelor (BACH) program
  • Must be enrolled in at least one eligible credit
  • Must hold a cumulative 3.0 GPA or 80% PACE
  • Must be a Nevada Resident

Application Process:

  1. Complete the 2026-27 FAFSA at FAFSA.gov
  2. Apply for graduation with the Registrar (Admissions & Records). Keep receipt of submission and attach to application.
  3. Meet with an academic counselor/advisor/full-time health faculty advisor to complete the Mission Graduation Scholarship Confirmation Form and attach the completed form to the application.
  4. Ensure all eligibility requirements are met, and the requested documentation is attached before submitting by the stated deadline. 
  5. Complete and submit the Mission Graduation Scholarship Application via the online link

Scholarship Notification Timeline:

Scholarship recipients will be notified within 30 days of application submission through the MyCSN Communication Center – Aid Notification. Denied recipients will receive an email notification via their CSN student email.

Additional Notes

  • Funds will be applied toward tuition, fees, and other educational costs first. If there is credit remaining on your account, the Cashier’s Office will send you the credit via Direct Deposit. Be sure to set up Direct Deposit on your MyCSN.
  • The Mission Graduation scholarship is a one-time award that can help students finish their program.
