Gender and Sexuality Alliance

The Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA) would like to welcome you to the College of Southern Nevada. We are here to support LGTBQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, Bisexual, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual/Aromantic) students, faculty, and staff.

CSN Gender and Sexuality Alliance is an affinity group whose mission is to serve CSN’s LGBTQIA+ students, faculty, and staff by providing a 'Safe Zone' program and other diversity training, by creating events and online content to promote visibility and critical resources, and by nurturing CSN’s relationship with LGBTQIA+ community partners.

CSN GSA facilitatesSafe Zone, an online, asynchronous training program which is designed to educate faculty and staff on LGBTQIA+ terminology, concepts, and allyship best practices to create a safer environment on campus for LGBTQIA+ community members. It is available for all interested CSN employees. At the completion of Safe Zone participants will receive a Safe Zone sticker, a variety of resources, and the opportunity to be added to a publicly available list of allies.
