About the Program

The nursing assistant is an important part of the nursing care team. A nursing assistant is a person who, under the direction of a licensed nurse, performs basic nursing and assistant restorative services for patients and clients, which involve:

Phlebotomy Program

About the Program

The phlebotomy program prepares students to work in a medical laboratory, medical office, hospital, or other medical facility. Students are trained in venipuncture and capillary puncture techniques to obtain blood samples for testing.

Upon successful completion of the program and the NHA Certified Phlebotomy Technician examination, students are eligible to obtain a Laboratory Assistant License in Nevada to become employed as a phlebotomist.

Medical Assisting Program

About the Program

As a medical assistant, you will be a multi-skilled professional dedicated to assisting in patient care management. You will be trained to perform administrative and clinical/laboratory duties and may manage emergency situations, facilities, and/or personnel.

HVAC Program

About the Program

The HVAC program prepares students to install, service, or repair heating and air conditioning systems in residences or commercial establishments.

The program emphasizes practical skills and hands-on techniques to prepare students to analyze, synthesize, and solve HVAC/R problems.
