The Casino Management Program trains students for entry-level, supervisory, and managerial positions in the gaming industry, including positions such as casino dealer, floor supervisor, pit manager, surveillance investigator, cage cashier and casino host. For students currently employed in the gaming industry, this program will aid in career advancement, professional growth and career mobility.
Students study all aspects of casino operations including slot operations, table games, race and sports book operations, casino cage operations, surveillance, gaming laws and regulations, internal controls, casino marketing and customer service standards. Our associate of applied science degree and certificate of achievement can be earned entirely online.
We offer dealing classes in Baccarat, Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, European Roulette, Pai Gow Tiles, Pai Gow Poker and seven different specialty games through the Division of Workforce and Economic Development. All classes take place in our state-of-the-art, 2,700-square-foot gaming laboratory where students use top-quality, casino-grade equipment in an authentic casino environment. Our instructors bring decades of real-world casino industry expertise to the classroom, providing students with a practical and relevant learning experience.
