The Paralegal Program is designed to prepare students to serve as legal professionals in private law practice, corporate practice and public practice. General legal coursework is combined with thorough preparation in legal procedures, research and writing to provide high quality legal services under the direction of an attorney. The program also provides opportunity for those already employed in law-related occupations to improve and supplement their existing skills.
The College of Southern Nevada is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. The Paralegal Program at CSN is a member of the American Association for Paralegal Education, a national organization which promotes high standards for paralegal education.
