The Welding Technology Program features an entry-level certificate and an advanced-level associate degree. Our program trains students in the latest industry techniques in shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux cored arc welding (FCAW) and gas tungston arc welding (GTAW).
Our program is recognized by the American Welding Society (AWS) as a Standards and Guidelines for Welding Education (SENSE) institution and a Sustaining Company Member. Depending on their chosen path, graduates can test for certification as AWS Entry Level or as AWS Advanced Level welders.
Welding skills along with blueprint reading and codebook application apply across a wide range of industries enabling our students to seek construction and fabrication positions in transportation, aerospace, manufacturing, energy and many other sectors.
