The Biological Sciences Program provides students with the foundation needed to achieve their science-oriented career goals.
Why Study Biological Sciences at CSN?
While the program does not provide direct career training, it is excellent preparation for transfer to a four-year institution.
Students who go on to graduate with a four-year degree in biological sciences typically enter graduate school, medical school, veterinary school or go on to a variety of careers in areas such as primary and secondary education, fish and game departments, environmental agencies, and biotechnology companies.
The Associate of Science Degree is a general transfer program for students who are planning to transfer to UNLV, UNR, NSC, GBC, or another baccalaureate-level institution. A secondary objective may be employment upon completion of the AS degree.
