The completion of the associate of arts, associate of science, and associate of business degree automatically fulfills the lower-division general education requirements at any other NSHE institution¹. The Certificate of Achievement in Advanced Manufacturing is an 18-month program that provides students with classroom and laboratory experiences in electricity, mechanical power, pneumatics, hydraulics.   Ferrous and non-ferrous material properties, programmable logic controllers, and facilities maintenance/manufacturing are offered electives. The certificate focuses on those skills used in advanced manufacturing such as industrial and operations/maintenance settings.
