The Internal Recognition Committee (IRC) serves as a recommending body to the President, assisting in recognizing and celebrating outstanding faculty, staff, and students who have made exemplary contributions to the CSN community.

Awards & Recognition
A variety of campus-wide employee recognition awards are presented annually during Fall Convocation.
The Sam Lieberman Regents' Award is presented each May during the Outstanding Student Awards Ceremony.
Nominees of the President's Distinguished and Excellence Awards and the Regents' Awards for Faculty will automatically be placed in the running for the annual NISOD Awards. The NISOD Awards are announced and presented at the annual NISOD International Conference in May.
