The Culinary Arts Program provides training for careers in both the culinary and pastry arts. Our program is designed to teach students the knowledge and skills to be successful in their chosen field through hands on practical training in our on-campus restaurant and kitchens, foodservice management courses and related skill development courses.

Associate of Applied Science Degrees and Certificates of Achievement are offered in both Culinary Arts and Pastry Arts, each of which are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Programs in Hospitality Administration and the American Culinary Federation (ACF). The ACF ranks our program as ‘Exemplary’, indicating the highest educational standards recognized by the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation Accrediting Commission. This latest ranking period will mark 21 years in a row our program has been ranked as exemplary, a designation that allows our graduates a chance to be certified as Culinarian or Pastry Culinarian without taking the practical and written exam!

Our graduates can pursue careers in foodservice such as prep cook, sous chef, pastry chef and executive chef, among many others.
