Welcome to the CSN Campus Recreation Facility

The primary goal of the College of Southern Nevada Campus Recreation Program is to give CSN students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to enjoy a good recreational athletics program. Such a program can provide relief from daily academic pressure, further the social and athletic components of a CSN student's education, and enhance the professional lives of faculty and staff.

Our Mission

Our mission is to engage the campus community in recreation and wellness programs designed to stimulate personal development and enhance academic productivity to enrich the quality of life for a diverse community through excellence in programs, services, and facilities.

Goals of the Campus Recreation Program are:

  1. To establish, provide and effectively manage quality programs including Club Sports, Fitness, Coyote Fitness Classes, and Wellness.
  2. To educate participants on lifelong behaviors associated with physical, mental, social, spiritual, occupational, and emotional wellness that supports making responsible choices that contribute to their overall well-being.
  3. To provide diverse programs and services designed to be inclusive of the needs of students, faculty, and staff.
  4. To provide professional development opportunities, educational experiences, and civic engagement that fosters lifelong learning.
  5. To participate and collaborate in campus-wide programs that provide involvement opportunities and assists in the recruitment and retention of students, faculty, and staff.

Obtain a Sports Center Membership

  • Go to any CSN Cashier's Office and pay the $20 semester fee, or you can Pay Online.
  • (Note: you must be a current, registered student to pay online)
  • Bring the receipt, and a copy of your current schedule to Campus Recreation.
  • Take a picture and get your Sports Center ID!

All fitness classes are drop-in only and non-credit
*Membership includes: Athletic events, Coyote Fit Drop-in Classes, and unlimited access to the Sports Center during business hours.

Year Membership (Academic Year)- $50 includes:

  • All Coyote Fit Drop-in Fitness Classes
  • Unlimited access to the sports center during business hours

Locker Rentals:

  • $12 (Per Semester) for a Large Locker
  • $10 (Per Semester) for a Small Locker

Go to any Cashier's Office to pay the locker fee, or you can Pay Online (Note: you must be a current ,registered student to pay online)

Replacement Cards

The first lost card is free. The second lost card you will be charged a $20 fee for a replacement card. Please visit Campus Recreation first for approval. This fee must be paid at the Cashier’s office. Then bring your receipt to Campus Recreation. You must present your membership card to use our facilities and check out equipment; or you will not be able to use our facilities (NO EXCEPTIONS). No refunds will be issued after the 1st drop date of the 50% fee.

All current members are required to renew their Sports Center memberships every semester (Fall, Spring, & Summer). Any Sports Center Staff are available for equipment orientations.

Facility Usage:

All users are required to sign in at the Sports Center information desk and have a current Sports Center membership photo ID card in your possession. Members are required to leave the ID when checking out Sports Center equipment. Visitors without a current Sports Center ID card will not be allowed to use the facility. NO EXCEPTIONS! For the consideration of other members, workout towels are required.

Open Recreation:

Open Recreation offers students, faculty, and staff members the opportunity to participate in less structured, non-tournament recreation. You must be a student, faculty, or staff member to participate in open recreation. Open recreation times are subject to change due to special events and facility maintenance. Throughout the year, facilities are regularly set aside for drop-in activities.

The CSN Campus Recreation is a multi-function fitness facility. Our membership package includes access to:

  • Treadmills & Ellipticals
  • Free weights - Dumbbells
  • Full-Size Basketball Court
  • Two Racquetball Courts
  • Men's & Women's Lockers
  • Men's & Women's Saunas

Hours of Operation

Monday through Thursday: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
Friday: 8:00am to 6:00pm

Summer Hours of Operation

Monday through Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm

Reserving the Facility

The CSN Campus Recreation is available for use by individuals within the college as well as within the community. There are several requirements that must be met in order to reserve the facility. A Facility Usage Application and Agreement must be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance of the dates(s) being requested. This form should be submitted to Campus Recreation, via fax, at 702.651.4971 or by email. To email the form, contact Campus Recreation and submit it upon reply. In addition, you must be able to provide proof of insurance in the amount of $1,000,000, naming the Board of Regents and the College of Southern Nevada as additionally insured.
