Building our Roadmap
The Strategic Connections Task Force, co-chaired by Jyoti Senthil and Kevin Mitchell, is facilitating the development of the college's next strategic plan, a five- to seven-year roadmap shaped by students, faculty, staff, and community partners across every CSN campus and learning center. This taskforce is working alongside subcommittee members and consultants from Campus Works across five phases from environmental scanning and visioning to goal setting and launch.

A Message from Dr. Stacy Klippenstein
At the College of Southern Nevada, our purpose is clear: we exist to expand opportunity, transform lives, and strengthen the communities we serve. The students who walk on campus have dreams, stories, potential, and the hope of a brighter future. Our responsibility is to ensure they have the support, resources, and pathways they need to succeed.
Our Strategic Plan is more than a roadmap—it is a commitment. It reflects our shared vision for a college, one that is responsive to the needs of our students, connected to our communities, and prepared to meet the opportunities and challenges of a rapidly changing Southern Nevada. It guides how we invest our energy, set our priorities, and work together to create meaningful impact.
As President, I am deeply committed to listening to the voices of our students, employees, partners, and community members. The strength of CSN has always come from the people we serve and the people who serve alongside us. The strategic plan will be built upon that partnership and a belief that our best future is one we create together.
Southern Nevada depends on CSN, and we are proud to rise to that responsibility. We will continue to innovate, grow, and evolve while remaining steadfast in our commitment to student success, workforce development, and community prosperity. Every decision we make is guided by a simple but powerful principle: helping people achieve their goals and ensuring our communities thrive. Thank you for being part of CSN's journey. Strategic Plan Resources
The Strategic Bridge Plan 2025–2027, approved by the Board of Regents in September 2025, serves as CSN’s roadmap for advancing the College’s mission while laying the foundation for the next comprehensive Strategic Plan. Through the institutional Unit Planning framework, the Bridge Plan aligns departmental initiatives with four strategic goals: Student Access and Success, Student Engagement, Performance and Quality, and Workforce and Community. The plan includes key performance indicators and project-based measures to track progress and guide continuous improvement, with annual progress reports providing updates on institutional achievements.
