Thank you for your interest in a CSN individual tour. Whether you’re a high school student, a transfer student, or a student returning after a break from college, taking a campus tour is an important part of your educational journey. We offer individual tours to help students get a feel for everything we have to offer. Our individual tours are led by Student Ambassadors, who will provide a 60 minute in-person walkthrough of the campus and a comprehensive overview of academic programs and resources. To ensure a smooth, successful experience, please review the following guidelines and reminders to help us provide you with a successful tour experience.
Individual Tour Guidelines
Requests for individual tours are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. By making a reservation, you agree to adhere to the rules listed below:
- Arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the tour. Arriving late will result in a shortened tour. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your tour will be canceled. As there is a high demand for these tours, please be considerate of our guides’ time and cancel your reservation if you end up being unavailable. Cancellations should be completed prior to the scheduled visit if possible. Failure to communicate delays and absences, even if unforeseen, may prevent your ability to book future reservations.
- We expect that all campus visitors, including student guests, are inclusive and respectful. Guests should listen to all directions given by the tour guide, respect the campus buildings and grounds, and be respectful of learning. Students should avoid using electronic devices like cell phones or Air Pods while participating in the tour. Guests should control excessive talking and any inappropriate actions/language. If any guests behavior jeopardizes the holistic safety of any individual or the quality of the tour, CSN tour guides reserves the right to end the tour at any time and restrict any future visits by a guest should conduct be an issue.
General Reminders
- Transportation/lunch is not provided for individual walking tours.
- The Las Vegas valley has a dry, desert climate which can get extreme for individuals not used to this weather, please dress appropriately for the temperature, and wear comfortable shoes. You can check the forecast here.
