
Students in the Health Information Technology (HIT) Program are prepared to work with electronic health records in the ever-changing healthcare arena including organizing health information, compiling health statistics, coding disease diagnoses and enforcing the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Upon certification, our graduates can enjoy careers as registered heath information technicians in hospitals, long-term care facilities, government agencies and law firms among other industries.
