9/21/2024 | National Clean Up Day: Neighborhood Beautification | Help beautify a local neighborhood with this fire hydrant repainting and litter cleanup event! The city will provide all cleanup supplies, on-site staff support, training, snacks, and refreshments. Meeting location at the C.C. Ronnow Elementary School. |

9/28/2024 | Get Outdoors Nevada: Bioblitz at Craig Ranch Regional Park | Volunteers will use the app iNaturalist to monitor and report the types of pollinators that come to our Native Habitat location at Craig Ranch Regional Park. |
9/28/2024 | Sprinkle Dash 2024 | This year we are looking for volunteers to help our participants in the Sprinkle Dash. This a 1 mile color run for kids. Volunteers will assist on the trail sprinkling color powerder on runners. We also need volutneers at check in table and finishline. This is a great opportunity to get outside and have some fun in the sun. |
10/12/2024 | Spooky Birds | We are seeking volunteers to assist with our annual Spooky Birds event. This event is held at the Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve. Participants are encouraged to dress up in their Halloween costume and trick or treat on our trails. Other acvitities include Bird Mobile tours, crafts, and games. 10/19/2024 | Zombie Run 2024 | Join us for the 11th Annual Zombie Run. This event is dependent upon our zombie volunteers to spook runner along the course. We are also needing volunteers to assist with packet pick up, aid stations, and at the finish line passing out medals. Volunteering for this event is fun for the whole family! |
10/26/2024 | Pet Trick or Treat | We are seeking volunteers to assist with our annual Pet Trick or Treat event. This is a 1 mile walk around Heritage Bark Park. Participants have 5 trick or treat stops and a spooktacular after party in the dog park. To volunteer for this event you will be working with animal lovers and their pets. How to Access Nevada Promise Virtual Engagement Events
GENERAL INFORMATION
Some Nevada Promise Events are held online using the Microsoft (MS) Teams Application. To access MS Teams, you must properly download the MS Teams application.

ENROLLED STUDENTS
As a CSN student, you have access to a number of digital collaboration tools and one main tool is Office 365 where your CSN Outlook Email is located.
- Follow the instructions below, or WATCH THIS VIDEO ON HOW TO SET UP CSN EMAIL & DOWNLOAD MS TEAMS.
- Once in your Email, locate the App Launcher at the top left, next to the word Outlook.
- Select MS Teams and download.
- When you register to attend a Nevada Promise Event, you will be sent an MS Teams link to use to go to the event online on the date and time registered.
If you have difficulty downloading MS Teams, please email us at Contact Us so we can assist you. We recommend you download the app at least 24 hours in advance of the event.
